#22, Attack, Matt Adams. The other thumb was sprained in the 3rd too. He was in the training room during the awards presentation.

Same thing happened to our attack captain against Grand Valley back on 4/17. He played through the injury and scored 2 more plus OT, icing it during breaks. You might have seen him on the sideline this weekend with the big thumbs up mallet. Today the mallet came off and you can see the pins he has holding his thumb together. Every team has players who have their moments, but maybe we should recommend few on GVSU get some anger management training, a gauge of how strong their chop is, or learn a better way to defend top attackmen. :wink:
