I'm gonna agree with JJLAX on this one. If your argument is that BYU had better talent so they should have won all their games then you would expect them to have one of the three (best offensive player, defensive player, or goalie). CSU also had 5 first team all conference while BYU only had 4. Now BYU did have 5 second team, while CSU only had 3. So you could say as a team BYU had better players, but with more first team all-conference, and only 1 less player selected to either all-conference team I think its hard to say BYU had that many superior players. With the best offensive player, defensive player, and goalie, along with 5 other all-conference players I'm pretty sure its safe to say CSU had the talent to win just as many games. Now, I'm not saying Flip doesn't deserve the award. Or am i arguing that the CSU players don't deserve their awards. I'm just saying to say Flip deserved it because he didn't have the talent that BYU had just doesn't agree with the rest of the awards and I don't think its a good argument. Congrats to everyone on their awards!

According to flip's blog, he thinks Lamb should have been the coach of the year too. But then again, he never votes for himself. I think flip did the better coaching job, bringing his team together as he did. Jason has alot more tools at his disposal than flip.

You would not have heard any argument from me if Jordan Harris was the DA MVP and Murphy Smith 1st team. I am biased but I think Danny Stevens is still the MVP on offense. With Treece not coming back he had a target on him in every game they played and yet he still managed to be the hub to CSU offense. BYU on the other hand comes at you fast and furious with so many threats and scorers that no one has really taken on or needed to take on a ball control leadership role on the offensive end of the field. I have no idea how they come up with the MVPs so I couldn't really say but I think both the first and second all conference teams are amazing representatives of the RMLC. Can you imagine having a team made up of these young men Yes we (the RMLC) are indeed very well represented!

Yeah I haven't seen a lot of either of these guys coaching this year (I'm hoping that will change at Nationals). So I don't know who deserved it. But I have seen two games on BYUtv and BYU does come at you with a variety of scorers. I just thought that saying Flip deserved it cause they had less talent was a bad argument because based on the awards they seemed to have lots of it. I know they didn't have Treece but BYU didn't have Kay who I believe was one of their better attackmen last year(did he get hurt or what?). On top of that they have three new attackmen from last year. Yes two of them have played before but shaking the rust off must have taken some coaching too. I'm not saying Flip didn't deserve it. I'm just throwing out ideas and playing a little devils advocate
