I thought some guys from UNM and Mines and Western made Honorable Mention and second team because of their stats.

David Szynskie, Western and Stony (defender) from Western for sure
Chris Perkins, UNC, and I think a couple of middies from the Fort, UNC and Westminster deserve it.

you know who deserves somethin'. our keep. not to take anything away from they guys who made first second and hm but our guy was invaluble. joe iliya shoulda made, at least, second team, if not first.

our hm's were jake barnes attack and chad dunsmore at lsm.

All around the league there was phenomenal goalie play this year. Our first year keep Peter Gavinski was the MVP of our defense without a doubt.

Who was the 1st team faceoff guy?

I'm the 1st team Faceoff and...
Freshman Steve Wheeler is 1st team LSM
Junior Bud Ribley is 2nd team Mid
Big man Trent Noonan is 2nd team D
and I can't remember what team, but I think Stone got recognized for Goalie

I thought some guys from UNM and Mines and Western made Honorable Mention and second team because of their stats.

No body makes teams because of stats. They must be nominated by at least one coach in the league and then voted upon. If they got the most points, they got first team. And so-forth down the line.

The Div. A and B teams will be officially announced on this site by the end of the day.

Yeah, I meant they deserved consideration on the basis of good stats...which obviously aren't the only measure of a good player.

wasn't the mines goalie 1st team AA last year? how did he go from that to HM all conference? not trying to put him down at all, just wondering if he didn't have as good of a season this year or if the other goalies in the league just stepped it up or what

Well it's kind of a mixture of the two... there was a lot of great goalie play. like the games against Fort, it was on the defense not Stone. What can I say, they feed real well from behind and we ball watch too much
