This should be a good tournament. It will be interesting to see if cu can win on there home turf. Nice bracket work by the way

The only possible reason I've heard was that they wanted the CSU/CU game to be played at night in hopes of drawing a larger crowd. If that's the case, then I'd rather see BYU/UU play at 4pm.

why is this such a big deal? the fields must be somewhat close if they are on campus, if you want to see both then youll have to watch halves or something. i dont see what the fuss is that the games are being played at the same time. look at the div. b bracket. there is a game at 4 on the kittredge field. and what is this senior showcase? are you telling me the league wants to have a senior "all star" game the morning of the championship game, that is the most rediculous thing i have ever heard and for two reasons. if you win friday, why would you want to play the next morning before the finals and if you lose friday why wold you want to stay around boulder anyway?

i love the idea of a senior showcase or all star game or whatever it is, but in no way should it be played the morning of the final game. am i crazy on this or does anyone agree with me??? also if the senior showcase is not a game and something else like an announcment of the all star seniors or something like that then jsut disregard this post and the second half of my previous one.

As host of the events, and against their biggest rival, CU should have the night game. Simply put, it'll attract the most fans and give the RMLC the most exposure - which not only helps each team's publicity and sponsors, as well as the event's publicity and sponsors, but also provides that "Playoff Atmosphere" that is expected.

With the original schedule, The University of Colorado would not be able to participate that evening. This was overlooked because of the need to allow more time for travel and rest for our brethern from Utah.

After discovering the error in scheduling, BYU was able to adjust to a 4pm game, however Utah was not. With travel planned, and adjusted already when the playoffs moved, the team would not be able to swing the 3-hour shift in schedule.

It's unfortunate that changes have to happen, hopefully adjustments can be made.

It is a big deal because they are both going to be great games to watch. I would just rather watch both games separate.

I posted this elsewhere too...but does anyone know where the fields are on campus (cross streets)? Also, are the fields turf or grass? Thanks in advance the help.

No one that is playing in the championship game has ever played in the showcase game. It is nothing more than one more game for those teams and players that only got to play one their senior year. It is not a serious game, nor is it taken seriously. The 4 teams competing in the championship games do not participate in this game. Calm down it is ok
