They ran the score up in the last 5 minutes, scoring four goals. Hopefully, we can stand our ground a little better.

St. Thomas took the lead in that game right off the bat from half time by dominating the face off. They dropped in two quick goals right after half time when everyone (on both teams) should have been fresh.

St. Thomas didn't run the score up, they took advantage of execution. They scored evenly throughout by executing on offense and defense. I would stick to building up your wins rather than justifying your losses. I can't stand it when people get on here and talk about why they lost. Teams end up losing because they didn't score as many points as their opponents.

I highly doubt any team in the country has palyed all their games with a 100% squad. UST had to use a converted middie in goal for the past 5-6 games including the conference playoffs but managed to get through it. They will likely be a better team this week when their starting goalie returns, but their depth and execution is what got them through that period. That's how good teams win. By taking what they have and rolling with it no matter the elements, injuries or sickness. All teams deal with that.

Harding is a good squad that has quality wins, I would pay more attention to the quality wins as opposed to one of the only blemishes on their schedule over the past few years.

I wasn't justifying our loss. I was simply giving two points where we have worked on since our only loss of the season. Don't get so judgemental. I don't need to justify losses or talk up wins, I let the scores of our games speak for themselves. See you at nationals.

On a side note, what happened to UST's goalie? He was sick.

I'm looking to see Salem State crack the top 20 as they were 23 last pole and have won all of their games since, including the PCLL B championship.

I just wanted to quickly echo some of the sentiments about Western Washington from this past weekend... that was easily our toughest B game this season (including our 2 losses) and if the Vikings make it to Dallas (which they certainly should) and play like that they have a legitimate shot at taking the whole thing. Noah had an amazing weekend in cage, their defense is tough and physical, and they proved themselves to be more than one-dimensional on offense this weekend. I think their resume should be good enough for an at-large, but watch out for these guys, they can play.

Just reported in the RMLC forum:

UVSC has been disqualified from the RMLC tourney (and hence the entire postseason?)

Ought to change up the polls a little bit

UVSC has been ruled ineligible for the post season, per the RMLC:
http://www.collegelax.us/news.php?actio ... ws&id=1277

They will not be eligible for the top 25 poll moving forward.

With UVSC out, this is what i think its gonna look like for the top 12:
1. SJU
2. Westminster
3. UST
4. Dayton
5. Montana
6. Harding
6. WWU (not sure whos gonna take that spot)
8. FLC
9. Emory
10. UNC
11. Montana St.
12. Calvin

Now with that, there are (i think) 5 at large spots. UST and WWU have AL spots now. FLC, UNC, and montana st. will probably take the others. Therefore, this will be (again, my opinion) the seedings:

1. st. johns
2. westminster
3. st. thomas
4. Dayton
5.Montana
6. Harding
7. WWU
8. FLC
9. Emory
10. UNC
11. Montana St.
12. UC Irvine

Lets see some talk...

I don't really see any reason that St. Thomas would stay at the #3. I know their games with St. John's were both close, but they still lost... not enough quality wins outside of that to keep them at the #3.

Aside from that it looks pretty good... could get shaken up a bit with the RMLC & CCLA tourneys this weekend.
