OU Lacrosse team looking for New Head/Assistant

the University of Oklahoma Lacrosse team is looking for new full-time Head and Assistant coaches for the up coming 2007/08 season. We're a relatively young team with a lot of talent along with a very strong incoming recruiting class for the next fall. Our roster size will be around 30-35 for next year and we are well funded. We're currently a Division A team in the LSA, and finished our recent season on a 4 game win streak.

Next year, we're looking at 3 to 4 fall games, and around a 16 game spring schedule. The team currently practices 3-times a week at OU's main campus in Norman, Oklahoma. As a coach, you'll also receive all the Official OU Lacrosse Nike gear and coaching attire as well as the possibility of a base salary for the year of coaching.

First day of practice for the Sooners is Monday, August 27th, and we are in real need for new head coach. If interested, please get to me before this date if possible

In need a new coach for the Spring '08 season and beyond. Three of our Four Coaches are currently in either the US Navy or US Air Force. Our current Head Coach just re-assigned to Boston and is leaving us at the end of the year. One of our assistants is also in the same situation to be leaving us by March.

We are in need of new a new Head and Assistants for our coaching staff. If anyone knows anyone who is currently in the Greater-Oklahoma City area or would be interested in coming up to Oklahoma for this position, please pass along this information. We can help with finding a job through the University of Oklahoma for the latter if needed.

We have a current roster of 38 solid players, 14 scheduled games for the spring, we're fully sponsored by Nike, have use to one of the nicest fields in the MCLA, and have solid funding to carry us for years to come. I'll be graduating soon and we need to have a solid coach to carry our team into our bright future.

I have to admit I am very impressed with the growth of this program in its first couple of years. This is a great opportunity to coach a team with huge potential in the very near future.
