Score was 1-1 after the first half...definitely a defensive battle throughout. Great game played by both sides.

Could this be the first year the PCLL sends two Division A teams to nationals?

Almost definite. Barring a Utah/BYU upset or a Michigan upset, both teams make the tourney.

This is where things stand at the moment:
LIND, UMD, UCSB, UGA, BC, ORE, TAMU are all in with AQs. One could reasonably expect Michigan to win the CCLA aq as well. All 8 AQ's are top 16 this year leaving the max number of at larges for remaining top 16.

I think these teams are virtual locks for at larges:
BYU, CSU, CU, AZ, ASU

This leaves 3 at larges for everyone else to fight over... between NU, UF, Sonoma on the inside and Vtech and maybe MSU on the outside.

Obviously NU will drop from the BC loss but I don't see how they can be knocked out of the top 16 for a 1 goal last second loss to another top team. For that to happen slumping Utah or FSU would have to move into the top 16 in their stead.

At the moment it seems like both NU and BC should get in. That would be huge
