Next Season
Woodlawn:
We won't know until we get to the fall meeting in September. One of the schools on your list that definitely won't be considered is Fontbonne. They are NCAA Division III varsity and will remain so.
Other matters have to be decided at by the conference and national leadership regarding the status of some of the teams you mentioned.

No it wouldn't. The A division and possibly the B division would lose the AQ bid for nationals. I don't think it would be a smart move until there are enough teams to qualify both divisions for national contention.

It would be sweet, but not possible in the MCLA, it would have to be split North South just like football, so you would have to play 3 or more teams that are about a 10-12 hour drive, not to mention colorado is at least 8 hours from its nearest north division apponent. The big 12 will never be a lacrosse conference until it is NCAA sponsored which i don't see happening any time soon

agreed. And there wouldnt really be enough Texas teams left to have a legit league...with Baylor, Tech, UT, and A&M gone.

I mean being a BIG XII team i think it would be really cool...but like my colleague dan so eloquently put...it wont happen till the BIG XII gos DI for Lacrosse. Plus i dont think it would be a good idea especially with the big drop off in talent from the "would be" best team and the "would be" worst.
