All conference honors
just wondering who people thought would be all conference this year. I have been very impressed with some of the talent this year.

griffins jt nebeker (attack 33g 41a), james brand (midi 47g 26a), and joe iliya (goalie 5.7 GAA .68 save %) are all very strong candidates.

Seeing those three you mentioned i would agree that they will be some were on that list.
I hope to see a few guys from unc make the list also: Brian Evans (attack 49g 35a) Chris Perkins (attack 32g 44a) Kyle Boyd (attack 47g 22a) And Jake Smith @ middie. I know that is four offensive guys but they have played real well

Without putting much thought into it, I would go something like this in the A division...
A - Davis (BYU), Stevens (CSU), Stone (CSU)
HM - Atwood (CU), Turkula (UU), Hier (BYU)
M - Bird (CSU), Cadiz (CU), Monteath (BYU)
LSM - Smith/Sabey (BYU)
D - Schnirel (CSU), Harris (BYU)
FOGO - Wood (CU)
G - Ehinger (CSU)
Off POY - Stevens
Def POY - Harris
Freshman of the Year - Ferrin/Grow (BYU)
I'm sure I missed someone/something...feel free to critique as necessary.

I dont know about harris for Def POY, he is very good but gets blown by a lot. one of the slowest d men in the league. but he could very well get that and he is good. I do like your post for the most part thought. You have to put atwood from CU in there over stone, nothing bad about stone but atwood is just better more often, its true. for the D i like your choices but there needs to be a third. maybe ferrone from CU (#3) or the english from utah but if i had to pick from those two id choose ferrone from CU. other than that i think you have it pretty much right on.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Harris win Def POY last year... he may be slow in your eyes, but he still got the nod in 2006. Clint English from the Utes is the heart and soul of that defense. When he was injured the quality of play dropped and just looked uninspired. Clint brings an attitude and an edge to a very young inexperienced defense that struggled at times this year.
Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if Ted Ferrin stole a 1st team nod. You'd be hard pressed to find another freshman in the country that has had as big of an impact as he has. Oh and by the way he plays for the #1 team in the Nation. I'm sure there are others like the ones mentioned above that are deserving, but none of them are nearly as fun to watch as Ted is.

you are right ted f. is great and will only get better but i do not think he will get it over english and or ferrone. i was not dissing harris at all, he is very good and shuts down a lot of great guys most of the time, i was jsut saying he is slow, regardless of him getting it last year and that might hurt him this year for that award. but if he gets it will be no suprise.

that is one of the best mid lines in mcla history... bird and monteath can change a game in a heart beat

Ferrin plays attack...English and Ferrone are poles. I think x1dschm was referring to Ferrin getting some 1st team votes at attack.

At this point, there won't be any Div. A All-Conference players! No one has submitted thier ballots and there due in 1 hour!
I would like to see someone make out a full ballot with their prediction though. Use last years all-conference as a reference. Where does this Harris slow thing come from? He has Wayne Gretzsky speed (but only on the ice)!

I agree 100% except I would put Cone over Foulger on 2nd team D. He is nasty and only a freshman. Who is Garff?
