I dont think Marty is the issue....I think the older defenseman for Dallas are just getting out worked by the Canucks forwards...

Seriously...how old is Zubov...49?

Depressing Pens game last night. They completely outworked and outplayed the Senators, but lost the game 2 to 1. Amazing atmosphere in the Igloo though. A lot of fun anyway.

Just got off watching this live video of the Thrashers-Rangers game on Yahoo!

The Blueshirts win, 4-2, and the series to advance.

I wouldn't even say it's the defensmen's fault. I truly believe that it comes down to the fact that we aren't scoring enough goals. The playmakers aren't doing it and neither are the younger skilled forwards.

I dont know about the finals: Im going to go against my heart and say Buffalo in 7. Controversial goal in OT anyone? PAy back???

I would be ok with that! I was at Game 6 in Buffalo when Brett Hull scored the famous "no goal". It was a great series but it would be nice to see my home town squad hoist the cup this year.

Defense wins championships.

Whoever wants the cup will have to go through Anaheim, guaranteed.

Brackets are not played out; highest seed plays lowest remaining seed.

Thanks CyLax for clarifying that. Guess I'm so attuned to thinking of everything in brackets. I would rather see the Rangers play Tampa Bay or Ottawa or other team, not NJ Devils. I read that the Rangers won't know who they would be playing until next Tuesday or possibly earlier.

DEFENSE does win Championships and right now no defense is playing harder or playing better than the Dallas Stars. Marty Turco with a 1.2 GAA and 3 shut outs has been awesome. Turco is playing like a goalie possessed right now. Look for some more game 7 dominance by Stars.

Modano was dominant on Saturday night, not just his goal, but his defense and his playmaking ability was incredible.

Won't say the Canucks are done, but Turco is playing awesome and the stars are dominating puck possession and are finally getting a few breaks which didn't occur in the first four games
