He has no where to go in playoff games but up! He better be playing to save his job for at least a couple of series.

Didn't see the sharks tonight, had to work. From what I read the Preds are dirty and now I think I dislike them as much as I dislike the Blues from when we used to always play them in the playoffs. That is two hurt players in two games, stupid cheap shots.

If im not mistaken, I believe that the Wild have sold out over 230 games in a row. Thats still going. People are still going and Minnesota is ecstatic to have hockey again. And I cant help but crack a smile every time I see the Wild beat the Stars.

Right now, the Wild is down 0-2 against the Anaheim Ducks. My friend showed me where the Wild and the Swarm play at the ExCel. It was fun looking at the Metrodome, the Target Center and the ExCel stadiums when I went up to see Minneapolis-St. Paul. A very interesting city.

I hope my Rangers will beat the Thrashers tonight.

Nashville is an extremely dirty team, esp. Forsberg and Tootoo....But The Sharks have always been one of the most penalized teams in hockey man, remember todd Marchant? and Mike Ricchi? and Todd Harvey? Especially Marchment.

WELL, WELL, WELL,

Looks like Turco rebounded in a dominant fashion.

Contenders beware, if Turco keeps playing like that the rest of the league will be hard pressed to beat the STARS.

Man o Man...Stupid CANUCKleheads

That was a Heart Breaking Loss the Stars had last night.

I was at the game.

The Stars dominated the first 2 and a half periods and controlled the tempo of the game, then they did what every hockey fan hates and started to defend their one goal lead, which as hockey fans know, will only get you beat.

Turco was amazing, played well enough to win again. The 1st goal he let in was off a rebound where there guy got to the net before ours, the OT goal was freakin Taylor Pyatt streaking through the middle and made a great shot.

The Stars had their chance in the third and OT. They hit a pipe that would have made the game 2-0 and had rebound opportunities.

Stars down 2-1.

Time to rebound in Game 4, at least i hope so, because I would hate to go to the game and watch them lose another Heartbreaker.

New War Crys -

Their not saying LU, their saying STU (Barnes had a goal on a beautiful deflction that beat Luongo top shelf).

FINNS not Twins (The Stars roster boasts 4 guys from Finland - Jere Lehtinen, Annti Mietinen, Jussi Jokinen, and Niklas Hagman).

Pretty good game last night in St. Paul. Wild win 4-1. Should have been 5-1, but late third period goal was called off for someone standing in the crease. Replay showed nobody in the crease before and after the puck was in the net.

No scoring in the first period. Tied 1-1 after 40 minutes.

Then Jaques decided to put Demitra,Gaborik, and Rolston one line and broke it open in the 3rd and really started getting at the Ducks as they went after a number of the Wild players.

I see Brad May getting a two game suspension for the sucker punch from behind to the head of Kim Johnsson. Fans chanted and got Derek Boogard on the ice but never got any takers. Doesn't surprise me after wittnessing what Todd Fedoruk is wishing he didn't do earlier this season.

Attendance was over 19,000

My favorite was the camera man picking up what the anaheim coach said...

"if Boogard comes after you, dont drop your stick....."

But by far, the most "bad ass move of the day" was when the melee started to break out at the end of the 3rd periord - adam hall fight, kim getting sucker punched.... and then Boogy hit the ice skated in front of the the Duck bench and shrugged his shoulders at the entire team, as if saying, "send em out, one by one..."

Unlike the other duck player who came from the other side of the ice durring a fight and jumped on making it 1 v 2 briefly.....this was the Adam Hall fight that led to the sucker punch....

I cant wait to watch them pluck the ducks.....

It was a hill in Nebraska, and he's reached the bottom and hit a rock. I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel for Dallas, Vancouver is solid and have a lot of momentum going back North. The Stars are done and they should begin to consider their future with Turco.

That fight at the end had the entire place going crazy, It would have been better to see Boogard beat the crap out of Chris pronger.

I think that you should tap the break a little bit on Turco -

Save Percentage - 94.3%
GAA - 1.67

Marty in the last 3 games has given up 4 goals.

Luongo Statistics

Save percentage - 95%
GAA - 1.49

It isn't what Turco is not doing, The Stars are not scoring goals. Last night they put almost 30 shots on goal and came away with 1 goal. In the 4 OT game they put about 75 shots on goal and came away with 4. They had 1:53 of 5 on 3 Powerplay time last night and could not cash in. In game 1 they had about 2 minutes of 5 on 3 power play time and could not get it done.

If you want to point fingers at somebody on the STARS here is your list to point at the top 5 scorers from the regular season, and Modano.

Mike Modano - O g, 1 a, 11 shots in 4 games (0 shots on goal in last nights game.

Sergei Zubov - 0g, 2a, 17 shots

Mike Reibeiro - 0g, 1a, 4 shots

Jere Lehtinen - 0g, 0a, 10 shots

Phillipe Boucher - 0g, 1a, 9 shots

Ladislav Nagy - 1g, 1a, 7 shots.

This is the difference in the series. The Canucks big guns are scoring and the Stars' aren't.

If it weren't for Turco they would have been swept by now and maybe lost by 3 or 4 goals a game.

Turco is the MVP for the Stars this series. HOW MANY 1 GOAL GAMES CAN YOU LOSE?
