UCF <golden> KNIGHTS

I read in the newspaper yesterday that UCF officially changed their name from Golden Knights to just Knights. Any particular reason?

I heard a couple years ago that they wanted to do so and I'm surprised it took so long. All that I ever heard was that they wanted to have a more... legit name for, specifically, the athletic programs. I wonder if there will be a logo change as well.
