Jumbo Here! I want to know who clears the crease the hardest and who will take any one's candy at any time. Who is the meanest candy taker out there?

clint english (utah's heart and soul on D) is a bad man. if you're clearin' the ball you better know where he is cause he will light you up, take the ball from you, and clear it himself.

no one's aloud to touch the ball in his crease and if you do get ready for a shoulder to the face.

get better soon clint

I wouldn't call this guy dirty but he is a beast on the field and that is Jordan Harris for BYU. He'll pick you clean or knock your head off if you aren't paying attention.
If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

Im not to sure about this year. I like CU's #3, CSU's line are all sick and they can put up numbers on the score sheet, Jordan for BYU is holding down on his end. I wonder if people remember a #8(I think 8) for CU last season. Jake Burkett(sp?) was in the top three for poles last season. It seemed as if he was the CU sniper, only getting in on key plays. Galvin would put him in only when they needed the ball back, or to get a huge stop on man down. As I remember he was a big kid that would break through walls of attackmen to get a ball free for the goalie. Do remember him Jumbo?

If you're strictly talking long poles I agree but if you including middies Pat Bird is just as brutal in the same way as Jordan Harris. Along the same line who do you think has the most brutal stick check? Who sends the most sticks airborne and even breaks opponents sticks with his checks? I would have to go with Adam Schnirel and Jordan Harris although I have seen Murphy Smith and Scott Cadiz (with his short stick) send some sticks flying too.

This is a tough one but I'd have to say that defensive middie from BYU. I think he might be number 1 but hes pretty tall and lanky and real fast. Do illegal checks count? cause i'm pretty sure he throws some mean cross checks. But those mentioned above me throw some pretty good stick checks

Please there has been no one scary with a short stick to go aganist the last 4 years than Scott Cadiz. I have seen players taken on polls before they take on him. He blew up #16 from CSU standing flat footed in the RMLC Semi's.

I think that hit you were talking about was very good. But i saw a hit by number 4 a small mid from the buffs that putt a large csu player on his butt. Is that the one you are talking about?

But i we are just talking about the best hitter in the league i think that you need to see # 30 from UNC Ryan Powell ( i know that is his real name) had a hit this past weekend that was flat scary. He cleanly hit a mid from fort lewis and knocked him clean out for 30 sec . I was real nervous for the other player, i hope that he is doing fine. The wildest part is that Ryan is the smallest kid on the field every game, but he is an absolute missile

Big hit

Postby DanimusPrime on Wed May 09, 2007 4:49 pm

Yeah, the dude from the Fort who got knocked out is ok now, just a concussion. I know it wasn't an illegal check, but some of the hits in that game were just unnecessary. I know I hit some dudes in the head by accident and got away with it, but I've never seen refs let so many slashes and crosschecks go unpunished like that before.

Anyone know how tight the officiating is usually at Nationals? I hope they let us clear the crease and let the brushes slide.

i thought the topic was dirtiest player? not best defenseman? in which case i would say that tall, lanky kid from BYU who kind of looks like a gazelle when he runs. He cross checks like its his job...
