Hard to believe what happened today.
Clear skies, cloudy skies, light rain, heavy rain, hail, lightening. Did I miss anything?
Tech v. Baylor to be determined.
UNT v. SMU rescheduled
UT v. A&M Nobody could see what was going to happen, literally.
Wow.
Did I mention I still need high resolution photographs from SEU and UTSA?

How was the Southwestern-Seu Game? Did Seu keep up? Any bright spots?
On a bigger note: Seems like LSA B should merge with A considering that TCU is moving up. Southwestern acts like they are in a different league. Austin College has a small roster. UTSA seems be struggling as well. St. Ed's has numbers but is not consistent in play. I mean Austin college made the playoffs and they lost every game! All in all, a pretty disappointing division. I vote for a merger just because there is only 4 teams playing next year (as it looks right now).

The first half of the game was pretty evenly matched. Southwestern was only up 2-1 going into the second half.
As far as the LSA-B goes, I will admit that the lack of teams is pretty disappointing. Merging A and B might crush some programs into the ground, though.

Due to issues with the lack of our faculty advisor which is necessary for travel(completely forgot about that when we rescheduled the second half of the Tech game), the game between Tech and Baylor will resume in Waco Sunday night at 7 PM.

UNT Tech score
Unofficially from Denton:
UNT - 16
Tech - 15
Great game to watch, competitive play the entire game. Tech was up 10 - 5 at one point in the 3rd, then NT rallied and was tied or up one at the end of the 3rd. UNT was up 15 -13 near the end of the 4th and Tech got a couple of goals and tied it up with about 1 minute left. Then UNT got a fast break goal from their freshman Jeff Luke to end the scoring.
#7 for Tech had a lot of goals and I think #13 did also.
Zach Gutierrez had 6 goals and 3 assists for UNT.

Can anyone explain what exactly happen with the aggie game, and how a no contest applies in the rankings?

I nominate that the Texas Tech team be the Ironmen/Weekend Warriors for just last weekend (April 13-15). They had to endure bad weather in North Texas and Central Texas along with their back and forth drives north and south on I-35.
Tough, close losses for the Red Raiders, but they are to be commended to be committed and dedicated to playing those games.

If the UT v. A&M game is not played, there is no effect on the rankings. It will be classified as a no contest.
A&M with an undefeated Div. A South record will be the #1 Seed in the South.
UT with an undefeated Div. A North record will be the #1 Seed in the North.

UT with an undefeated Div. A North record will be the #1 Seed in the North.

Thanks Brent. I really want to give thanks to everyone in our organization and everyone with UNT and Baylor for making everything possible. Tough losses for us, but our guys are looking forward to next season.
I really wanna commend our guys for meeting the rigorous travel demands that this season has incurred upon them, they showed a lot of heart and that will only carry us over to next year.
It's been an interesting season.
Good luck to everyone in the LSA playoffs!
