This is based off this year's scores and last year's scores, laxpower ratings, and what I saw.
1 MontiQuois
2 White Bear
3 Mankato
4/5 Rochester teams (assuming their talent was equally split)
6 St Paul
7 Andover
8 Anoka
9 Hastings
10 St Cloud
11 Coon Rapids
12 Owatonna
13 Superior
14 Blaine
15 Champlin Park
16 Buffalo
17 Orono
18 Elk River
19 St Louis Park
I think after the top 5 or so, it's totally up in the air right now. Elk River and St Louis Park are new Varsity teams so I don't know anything about them.

A lot of that will be up in the air after this coming weekend with all the games going on. We (Duluth/Superior) play St. Paul and both Rochester teams this coming weekend in Duluth. I've heard some scouting on the top ten teams and i'm optimisic. Thanks for your input.

I think it's safe to say that's not going to be an easy weekend. Should be a good test to start off the season. Good luck!

Just caught some of the Kennedy vs. Holy Angels.
The Eagles got the score to 7-4 in the third, but Holy Angels used some good ball movement to score a flurry of goals putting the game out of reach.
All in all, a nice effort from both sides, glad I was able to catch the game.

Congrats to Todd..
I wrote an email to the journalist who wrote that article and mentioned to him how lacrosse is effecting sports in Minnesota. At Burnsville, we have 60 kids out. Of those 60, 0 track kids and 1 baseball (who had to quit because of shoulder surgery). I would guess that 90% of lacrosse players are soccer, football, and hockey. Yes, we will steal kids from track when football programs realize that it is better for their kids to play lacrosse than run track, that is when it will happen. Up to this point, it has had no effect.
I just think its hilarious when the MV coach says that playing lacrosse in the summer would be a blast....you know what else would be fun in the summer......track!
