It must be hard for U of A to know they're the 2nd best team in AZ now. I'm already getting ready for the Duel, prediction 12-7 ASU wins with authority.
I hope Mickey Miles makes my heckling job easy and wears his sweet two colored cowboy boots and trys to sell me some jewlery.

This is a big game for the MCLA and the WCLL, But I would have to say that the CU vs CSU game at mile high on the 21st is fairly bigger in terms of the league and their respective conference. Last year that game drew around 5,000 fans and this year i wouldnt be suprised if that number doubled. Rivarly games are awesome though no matter what...

didn't ASU win (a regular season game) last year for the first time in at least a decade or maybe since the WCLL began? I thought I remember reading an article about that last year. Anyways, ASU has made great strides in the last few years from a mediocre A team to now a top team. Good to see some PAC-10 teams making some noise this year and it is not Cal or Arizona (yet) for once.
Good luck in the playoffs guys.

you got it.
I predict a high scoring, fast-pased, offensively-led game. I'm gonna go out on a limb and throw 16-13 ASU out there. When it really needed to get done (two #1 battles in a row) these guys have done it.
I think Tyler Westfall will have at least 4 goals and he'll dish it out to lil bro bro Ryan at least twice. I think Ryan is going to have a breakout game because his girlfriend will be watching (don't hate me Ry, i mean well...) I think Nelson and LaFlam will be right behind them in the box scores and Nelson will lead the team with assists...again.
I've said my piece, so its up to ASU to prove me right now...
I wish i could be there, but i've got my own game to win

Come on U of A has a slow D that won't be able to catch Nelson! Coach Hopkins and Coach Broschart are good friends and have almost exactly the same Offense and Defense sets so it's going to be who can execute the best. From what I've heard kenny is scared of ASU's offense with good reason. It'll be a battle between the lines and if ASU pushes transition like it knows best then U of A will get left in the dust. 15-8 final. ASU has alot to prove this is the first time they are going into the duel in the desert game having the higher rank and being the favorite. High tempo emotional game should be one for the record books even with my predicted score

Any one who thinks that ASU is so much better than U of A should take a look at the stats below.
Records:
UA: 11-4 ASU: 10-2
Goals For:
UA: 178 ASU: 168
Goals Against:
U of A: 117 ASU:124
Bottom line is that these teams are much closer in talent than the rankings would indicate, and the game on Saturday should be a great one.
