It was just mediocre. But at least he's not in a coma.

I thought it was very well done. I was convinced Tony was finally going down when the cops showed up at his house and that this season was going to see Tony fighting for his life in court while the rest of the family jockeyed for position. Obviously I fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

The time at the lake house might be construed as slow but this show has always been about Tony's psyche and his relationship with his family. We saw all facets of that relationship in this episode. Janice's ability to manipulate Tony, Tony's insecurity after the fight, and Tony's mother's ever present shadow over all of their relationships are all indicative of the real theme of this show.

they have lowered our collective expectations over the years...last night was decent, but by the original bar would have been a snorefest.

Anyone else think that Bacala is going to get in trouble for killing that guy in Canada? The guy ripped a chunk of his shirt off and then Bacala just left the gun there with fingerprints all over it. Tony really showed his disapproval of Chistopher again when he hung up on him. Tony also mentioned to Bacala that the guy he is grooming to be second in line (Christopher) might not work out and hinted that since Bacala is his brother-in-law that he might be second in line. This was also before the fight happened and I can't see Tony letting this one go. All-in-all not much action and I hope that things start picking up.

Yeah I am more into Entourage than Sopranos. It's kind of weird to see Ari on the ropes. And poor poor Drama can anything go right for him? Turtle however is a genius getting the party sponsored to save money was awesome. Just wish the episodes were not so short.

Sorry I thread hijacked.

Tony did mention to Bobby when they were in the boat fishing that killing is more difficult these dats, what with the DNA evidence and all. Way to go, Bobby! Leaving the shirt was not smart.

Here is to more Carm and Meadow!

I think the rest of the season is going to revolve around the RICO case against Tony. Maybe Bacala was sloppy, but it did happen in Canada. (Extridition is tough)

What do you think the best way for Tony to leave?
1) Prison
2) Hit
3) Rat
4) Death - natural causes

I think he has to die. It just seems like if he doesn't there will be too many undones and prison would just not finish the story off. If he was in prison there could still be more to write about/watch. But if he goes in the ground it pretty much ends his story/conflict IMO.
