It is my unfortunate duty to report that Ms. Marilyn Hoskins, PNCLL Secretary and General Manager of the Simon Fraser lacrosse club, remains hospitalized in B.C. following a brain aneurysm last Friday.
Son Brent (SFU Co-Head Coach) reports the good news that Marilyn is "doing about as well as can be expected at this point" and remains upbeat despite her present circumstances. There will be the need for rest and recovery as well as more extensive testing, before a full prognosis for the future can be made.
Marilyn is deeply respected and loved by those of us who know and work with her. She has made an enormous contribution to the PNCLL as Director of the '05 Final Four tournament and in her ongoing duties on our Executive Board, which we will remain optimistic she will able to continue. Husband and son are under strict orders to get the boys on the road for Seattle, where the Clansmen open HIT play tonight against Rhode Island at 8pm. I'm really saddened that my friend won't be with the team this weekend to join us in the festivities.
I'm sure I am joined by every reader of this forum in wishing Marilyn a full and complete recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

All the best from the lacrosse people in BC. We all wish Marilyn a speedy and full recovery.
If anyone has any problems with the PNCLL website, you can contact me directly. Marilyn was the main contact between the website updates and myself.

Update on Marilyn...
Here is an update on Marilyn, from Gloria Siegner...
Hi everyone,
Marilyn is at the Royal Columbian Hospital and seems to be doing quite well. I have been up to see her a couple of times, and the first thing she asked was how SFU did in their game last Saturday. ( some things never change ).
A special request from the family is to hold off on sending any flowers as she is in a private room with not a lot of room.
As of right now only immediate family is allowed to visit, and she is to be kept quiet and calm. I will try and keep you all posted.

Just to let you all know, Marilyn had surgery this past Tuesday and everything went very well. From what I hear she may be out as soon as Tuesday. She asked me to pass on her thanks for all your prayers and best wishes.

Update
I'm happy to report that Marilyn was not only released from the hospital earlier than scheduled, but that she was at the UW-SFU game this afternoon at Burnaby Lakes, keeping score at the table!
It's wonderful to have our friend back with us...

A real trouper
Dan:
I have to agree with you how nice it was to see Marilyn. I spoke with her at the scorekeeprs table before the game. She is an incredible lady and a trouper for our sport.
And Dan, finally after all these years, it was a pleasure to meet you. I know we have tried a number of times over the years, but today we finally met...at center field yet. Nice...
