Duel in the Desert
Alright we are one week away from arguably the biggest game in the MCLA season where ASU travels down to the Old Pueblo to face the Laxcats of UofA. Any thoughts or comments, can't wait to see the size of the crowd and especially the hard fought game.

How is this "arguably the biggest game" of the season? Other than the fact you are talking about to in-state rivals out of the top 10.

I'll be there Sonny, but I'd say I'm hardly neutral.
My only regret is that I have to drive down to Tucson, possibly the dirtiest and worst smelling little big town in America.
Should be a great game though, so it will be worth it.

to the colorado hater.....let me explain something, when the next polls come out you will most likely (remember to read all my words before making your argument) have 2 top 10 schools as well as in state rivals. With the increasing popularity of lacrosse in Arizona it should be a spectacle. The MCLA lives on these games and these games are the reason for the expansion of lacrosse in the United States. With that being said next week will definetly have all the focus on this game.

Biggest game in the state history of Arizona lacrosse...I think everyone can agree on

Maybe this game could be brought to the attention of Grand Canyon University's lacrosse team's coach. He doesn't even seem to think ASU's and Arizona's programs exist.
We are very optimistic and excited about GCU’s future lacrosse team,” said Head Coach Adam Marshall. “We have great players in Arizona who don’t get the opportunity to be seen by recruiters because this state hasn’t been seen as a lacrosse powerhouse. This program will help to change that."

I understand that this is a big game for the great state of Arizona, but as far as the league goes I think that there were and are about 10 more games that I would argue as "the biggest game of the season," before the ASU/Arizona game. That's all.

I would probably be willing to entertain an argument that it's the most important game in the WCLL A Division, considering team ranks and postseason importance (barring the games to come in the postseason).
As far as games between two WCLL opponents, this probably is in fact the game of the regular season. Mix that with what I hear about crowd turnout for the game, and it could be quite an event. Just wish I could be there.

Allright, now that we have gotten so far off of the topic that no one knows how it started...let's talk about the actual game here, wether it is the biggest game or not, it certainly is a very important game for at least two teams. Any predictions out there, anyone want to venture a guess as to how the game will go, slow, fast, high scoring, defensive battle, what are the thoughts out there...? I think no matter what it is a going to be one hell of a game between two rival schools. Both teams are playing well and have stellar records, I can't wait for this one....
