FYI on the SJU vs Moorhead deal- On I94 traffic was stopped for about an hour, everyone was outside of their cars talking on the road (our bus driver got to hit the bathroom). I guess a bunch of trucks were jack knifed blocking the road in both directions. The wheels on our bus were spinning at times. We finally made it about 10 miles from Moorhead and we got a call about the visibility and field conditions so we turned the bus around. Basically we had a 4 hour team bonding session on a coach bus at 8:00am on a sunday morning. sweet!
April 1st in Minnesota and we have a white out AWESOME!!

Mankato lost to Iowa State in yet another rainy, sloppy field. I was told the score was 10-4, but that is not official. The field was a total wreck after 4 games in 2 days. Its going to take some work to get Nate Chalberg Field ready for the fall.

There is a proposal to renovate all the Campus Rec fields at MSU, but its got one big sticking point. It would raise student fees to pay for it which has been a major road block. MSU although got the ok to play at the football field in on April 20th. If it rains a drop on or before that date it will almost not happen. They have been planning to put turf on the field soon, which would probably happen since the Vikings use the field during training camp and complain about it every year.

UW-Stevens Point; 10 v Marquette; 9 in O.T.
great game going back and forth despite the horrible field conditions already from the previous games on the feild
according to the UMLL website game description: "Very close game throughout. Weather and field conditions made the game very interesting, and a fun one to watch. The last two minutes saw Point go ahead by one, Marquette tie, Marquette go ahead by one, and Point score the tying goal with 6 seconds left in regulation. Point scores game winner in overtime."
