I think MSU was the most impressive team this weekend. There were four great teams in Missoula this weekend, and they are the only team that went 2-0 in the round robin. . .and ironically they were the lowest ranked of the 4 teams.

WWU lost to MSU but beat UVSC
UVSC lost to WWU but beat Montana
Montana lost to MSU and UVSC but beat WWU two weeks ago

Montana State won two big games and their only loss is to Westminster, who I have ranked #1. . .they belong in the top-5, in my opinion. They've earned it.

I just hope all four of these evenly matched teams end up in Texas. . .the B division tournament is going to be as wide open as the A division this year.

i couldnt agree more....there seems to be so many good teams this year in both divisions, that literally 5-10 in both the A and B divisions have a legitimate shot at the title

So, you have #13MSU moving up 8 spots over two games they played? They had a very good weekend and year so far but they lost to westminster by 10 who #11fort lewis just lost to by 2 and FL is also ranked ahead of them now. Also, #6Dayton is still undefeated although not playing as hard of a schedule right now. #3Westminster, #2St. John's , and #1St. Thomas have the top three locked up. #7Harding has only lost to St. Thomas who is number one. I dont see how they can move up 8 spots ahead of harding and dayton. They should be in the top 10 for sure. What should happen to Montana for losing to 2 teams in the top 15.

Sunday's score from Missoula was UVSC over Montana State 16-7. All of the games this weekend here were incredibly competitive and could have gone either way. I really want to thank Western Washington for filling in this weekend and for UVSC and Montana State to make the trip out... also to Tim Hart and Chunk for providing the commentary. I hope we can make this happen next year.

unc travels to play montana state ana montana in a couple of weeks. we should get an idea how good the bears are. They are rolling right row after four wins in a row.
16-11 against mines
13-6 over fort lewis
19-7 over northern arizona
20-2 over regis
i think that because the only loses this year were to top 5 trams (all who have first place) i think that unc should jump to 7 or 6 and stay above fort and montana state

It's had to decipher St Thomas, Harding, Dayton, and Calvin. They haven't seen much competition outside each other, so it's difficult to rank them versus the everyone else. I guess you'd just have to have seen them play this year to know how good/bad they are.

harding has played some legit teams, namely st thomas and calvin, but also Southwestern, St Edwards, and Texas today....

Exactly, those 4 teams haven't broken outside, yet, to other top division B competion. When the Tommies play the Johnnies on April 13 that will really tie things together.

I thought 13 was way too low for them anyway. . .so no, they won't move up 8 spots in my poll. . .I had them at #10 before the weekend--they might move up a spot or two. . .but I wrote that message before they lost to UVSC, so now they won't move all the way into my top-5. . .had they beat UVSC I would have put them in the top-5 or 6. . .

Dayton and Harding are somewhat hard to rank right now. Harding has played a tough schedule, but really Calvin is their only win over a top-15 team. Dayton doesn't play anyone in the top-10, and Dayton's ranking really is irrelevant, in that they play no OOC games so their only way to Nationals is via the CCLA AQ.

Ranking UVSC, MSU, Montana and WWU relative to one another is really difficult in that they have all beat up on one another. . .

The RMLC now has 4 teams in my top-10 (Westminster, UVSC, UNC and MSU). . .and Fort Lewis is right there as well in the mix. That conference is by far the best in the B division, top to bottom.

Dayton has one out-of-conference game against St. Louis University and hoping to possibly acquire another one before the end of the season. Moreover, despite not playing anyone from the Top 10 to this point, three of Dayton's victories have included CCLA-A Division opponents.

I've heard from a couple of CCLA coaches I trust that Dayton is the real deal. . .it's just hard to make comparisons about teams without solid OOC play. . .and you certainly have to hope Dayton does not slip up in their conference tourney unless they can get another OOC game on their docket. . .
