Great back and forth ball game, great crowd at Bobcat Soccer Complex. TxState was down 4-1 at the end of the 1st and went into the half down 4-2. Late in the third TxState took the lead by one. The fourth quarter was back and forth, with the Bobcats having the ball three times with under two minutes to try to tie the score.

Trinity contacted TCU saying they couldn't field a team. we're working on getting something else scheduled.

The Baylor @ North Texas game has been postponed to a later date due to the heavy rain in Denton.

K now this whole weekend is getting really hairy. Both Tech @ Texas and Tech @ Baylor or both up in the air with the weather conditions in Austin and Waco.

Learned earlier tonight that the northbound and southbound of I-35 in Hillsboro were under water. That is just for tonight. Several flash flood warnings all around.

With the Nationals being pushed back a week....I have inquired about the possibility of moving the conference playoffs back a week as well. That way we can use that week to reschedule all of the rained out games from this weekend.

Moving the date of the conference playoffs is news to me.

And no it won't happen.

The LSA already has a week set aside for rain-outs and make-up games just like it did last year, and the year before last. It's up to the teams to get their games played.

Texas Tech at Texas AND Texas Tech at Baylor have been CANCELLED.

These games are now in the process of being rescheduled, most likely for next weekend.

Due to Tornados and Lightning in the Area, the OU/New Mexico game was canceled friday night, and pushed back to saturday night at 8.
