High Point at Furman Results
Furman - 16
High Point - 0
Thanks to the Panthers for making the trip down to Greenville on a Friday night. High Point was an organized, classy team that played hard the entire game. Look forward to seeing them in some SELC competition next season!

The Hokies were leading the whole game. In the first half the teams were exchanging goal-for-goal, and at half time the score was 8-5. In the second half the Hokies came out and scored 2 quick goals. The Gators were held scoreless in the 4th.

That's a big win for the Hokies. The Gators can make things very interesting with a win next Friday at home against the Noles. I might have to jump in the car to catch that one after all.

presss release from mlca.us
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons hosted the #20 Virginia Tech Hokies on a nice Saturday afternoon in Winston-Salem. The Hokies jumped out to a fast start and gained a 6-1 lead after one. Transition and man up opportunities helped the Hokies gain the early lead and would be pivotal factors for the game as a whole. The Deacs closed the gap to 8-4 by halftime, and the teams exchanged goals in the third to make it 10-6 entering the fourth. The Deacs were unable to get any closer, however, as the Hokies would pull away to a 14-8 final margin.

VT vs UF
can anyone say anything about the game? I'm really surprised by the lopsided score. Did VT play that well or did UF just not show up? Are the stats of the game posted anywhere?
