I'm not too surprised by the 16-4 score. I was a little more surprised that UCI was able to defeat the LSA B teams so handily during their trip to Texas. Just goes to show that the strength of the WCLL is not just limited to the A division. I still think UCI is improved over last year's team, but obviously still haven't reached the level of the top WCLL B teams yet.
Fort Lewis playing the top 2 WCLL B teams this week should be very telling as far as the national B picture is concerned.

Score
The most surprising score involving a B team might by Ft. Lewis' blowout loss to ASU, an unranked A team. I would have guessed a closer game.
Three of the best PNCLL B teams are off to play Utah Valley State this weekend. These games should answer alot too.

The Fort has lost alot of players in the last year, and their ranking was based on last season and some other such stuff...

We'll definitely know how good Fort Lewis is after this weekend, taking on two top-10 B teams from the WCLL in Claremont and USD.

I heard that fort is playing with somehting like 14 players. Going on the road with a small squad is never an easy task. Plus, these are forts 1st games of the year. The ASU blowout would have suprised me if fort was blowing out teams before this game, but they wern't. We THOUGHT that fort was going to be better from things they did last year, which goes to show how much teams change every year in D-II. Last years fort team beats ASU i think, or at least puts up a fight. Good luck in Cali fort, bring home a win!
Oh...thats so hot!

Its hard for alot of Div B teams to be stable...small student bases to draw from, and past that money seems to be more of an issue.....thats why Div B is so much fun, you can have teams come out of no where and take it all...
