Western Oregon 10
UC Irvine 7
Huge win for the for the Wolves and the entire PNCLL B division as Western Oregon solidifies their top-25 ranking and sends a message that maybe they deserve an even better spot in the polls. . .

We are going to Tempe in the morning and it would be great to know where they are playing.

Was a fun game to watch. UCI was down by 2-3 goals for most of the game, and then tied it at 7 with about 4 minutes left. About a minute later, WO put in a goal off of a middie dodging from up top and put in another about 10 seconds later off of a face-off fast break. They put their last goal in with under a minute to play.
Sitting in the stands was pretty humorous - some of the Western Oregon fans were yelling at the end because for some reason they thought that it's running time if there is under 2 minutes left in the game. On every out of bounds they'd yell at the ref to keep the clock going.

Colorado 6, Oregon 5 in Tempe, AZ.
Colorado lead most of the game due to some incredible defense.
Oregon looked defeated, but managed to close to 6-5 with about 4 minutes to go. Oregon had 2 good chances inside of 2 minutes. Knope hit the crossbar from up top. Schane received a feed from behind at X all alone, but CU goalie made a great save. I think if he had it over, he would have skipped the fake and just put it low. CU picked up ground ball and cleared but Oregon's defense got it back. A couple Gilmans back and fourth and it was over.
Quite a trip for CU.

I wish I could have made it in time for the game. . .I flew into Phoenix today but couldn't get to the game. I'll be able to attend the game between Oregon and ASU tomorrow. . .hopefully I'll see the Ducks offense get rolling again. . .

ASU 18
Oregon 17
Oregon lead the entire game until the very end. ASU had a surge early in the fourth to tighten things up. Ryan Westfall scored the game winner with about 30 seconds to go.

I gotta give my props to BSU. They don't have the best record so far but losing by 3 to USC and 4 to Cal Poly( both successful/established WCLL teams). They may only have 1 win but I am very proud of my Boise St. men.
I just hope that this trip helps them get ready for the battle for 4th place this year. Maybe they can make it to the league playoffs in their second year in this great league.
Best of Luck Broncos!

Western Oregon - 8
Biola U.- 7
wou was down after 1st quarter 3-1, and managed to turn that around to be up 5-4 at half. Wolves went into the 4th quarter up 8-5. Final quarter was a stressful one for this WOU fan. Thanks to some good defense late in the game, the Wolves are 2-0 on the Cali road trip, looking to make it 3-0 at Oxy tomorrow. It's been a pleasure to watch WOU in the past two games, Biola and UC Irvine are solid club teams and made for a couple great games

on behalf of the biola lax team, i want to thank wou for coming down to cali to play us. our team has a new found respect for the pncll. it's great that we can go out and battle you guys for 60 minutes, and then end up becoming friends after the game and carrying on conversations after the final whistle. wou is a very classy team, and it reflects well on your entire organization and league. best of luck the rest of the season guys, be safe on your journey back.
