Ok, let the debate begin.......It was easy for me to pick two teams for the final four, but the other two were tough. I have Florida repeating even though history doesn't support it. Every year there seems like there's more and more balance in the tournament. Nevada is a 7th seed, Arizona an 8th, Duke at 6, Wintrop at 11 and Louisville at 6........too many upset potentials for the later rounds.
Have at it....

Wow, this thread took off like a snail...
My bracket isn't in shambles yet; I called the Duke loss, but definitely thought Gonzaga would've had a better showing against IU, and hoped Marquette would've played MUCH better.
As far as champion, as much as I hate repeat champs, I'm picking Florida. I guess it's not so much as I'm picking Florida as much as it is I'm picking anyone but Ohio St.
Anyone else?

Ohh, that Davidson is going to hurt! I like the Texas and Creighton picks!! I heard something on ESPN the other day about all of the qualifications for previous national championship teams. IE) They had to be in the tournament the year before, seeded 4 or higher, etc.....Texas is one of only 6 teams to fit that bill. I like my Terps to make a run. They seem like the one team in the Midwest that can match up and run with Florida. I'll see if I can dig up my bracket too.

I'd say the Badgers, pre-MSU loss, could run with Florida... judging by the game now being down 15 to TAMU-CC, i'm getting scared.
Oh well, at least UVA won for me.

can watch all nonregional games on cbssportsline on-demand online (free). they even have a 'boss button' that pulls up a spreadsheet and mutes the game for camoflauge.

This is not a NCAA tourney related post, but just read an article from Yahoo! Sports that Tubby Smith is reportedly going to be the next University of Minnesota's men's basketball coach. At the time of writing, nothing is confirmed by the University of Minnesota.

And Steve Alford is leaving Iowa to go to New Mexico.
Iowa City rejoices.

I hope USC wins, to justify the fact that the Pac is dominant and then I can really see us winning it all cause I think we just sent USC to the dog house with their tail between their legs not two weeks ago

i am in awe over the ohio state / tennessee score. i fell asleep with OSU down big and not looking good. This morning I actually went as far as to update my (paper) bracket with OSU crossed out all the way (have them beating UCLA in the championship)
i can't feel comfortable until i know the whereabouts of a certain Augustana head coach. Someone call his wife to make sure he is ok.

Is Ohio State really that good to come back after being down 20 to Tennessee and having to take Xavier to OT, or do other teams just not have the gas in the tank at the end of the game and cave?

I think ohio state is significantly better than they were earlier in the season.
i can't explain their tourney performance up to now though.
Tennessee had enough gas in the tank to give the gators a woodshed beating late in the reg season.

You guys were definitely hot that night. We still got the regular season sweep! Good luck to the ducks lets show a little PAC 10 dominance...except for UCLA-they can rot in hell.
