I totally agree we you. I have seen many post of his over the past 3 years and I totally agree with you. His posts always well said and with a great deal of knowledge and I definitely respect what he has to say and look forward to his posts. I have a great deal of respect for CatLax Man. I was just trying to correct some of his information that was not factual. If I in any way offended CatLax Man, It wasn't meant that way and I hope he knows this. Thanks.

They (UCSD) were not a ranked team when NE played them. That's what I was saying.
Regardless, NE is a good and dangerous team this year (wherever they are in the polls) and I can't wait to see how they do against top competition at Nationals.
The question I was trying (maybe poorly) to get across was: Does one win against one ranked opponent all year deserve a top 10 poll position? (it was addressed above, sounds like yes, until they "screw up")
CPLaxGM said what I was thinking. If NE runs they table and is upset in Conference playoffs: Are they an At-large team? Thats what I wanted discussion on.

Tough to say at this stage in the season. What if a few of the top ten teams get upset by non-ranked opponents throughout the season? If this is the case and N.E. does everything that you stated, then yes, I think they get the bid!
