They were ranked #1 last year until Michigan St upset them in the CCLA semi-finals.

And what has Colorado done this year to deserve a top 10 ranking besides being ranked there to start the season?

Colorado is a top 10 team. Yes they lost to texas AM and beat texas in OT but it was also CU's first game of the season while the LSA teams were well into their season by then with 4 or 5 goals under their belt. then we see CU beat LMU 13-9 or whatever it was. They will drop but for them to drop out of top 10 is extreme. THe pollsters also take into account the scheduals of the teams. Its like if CSU played oregon today, there is no way that score would we what it was, oregon would prob winn but not by that margin. Some teams are only 3 or 4 games in now and some are 7 or 8 and thats a big difference, especially in the MCLA. I think in a few weeks we will all see who is for real.
