wow, when i started this topic i had no idea that goalies would even be mentioned, seems almost like an offensive lineman, or point guard winning the mvp
also i will add i have been playing against zach for about 5 years now and he is an exceptional goalie who knows how to use his body very well
when i think of mvp's i think of "best guy, best team" or a guy who can turn a team around, so im suprised i havent heard from the smu guys on this one
also i appreciate the nod from my teammates, but dont hold your breath

a goalie who knows how to use his body well? i always thought they were stupid for putting their bodies in front of that hard ball flying through the air at 80-100 mph. to each his own, though.
peace.

it wouldnt be a SMU guy because thats a total team effort... it's been three years now since they were a one-man squad... i havent seen any stats from their games this year but i would bet the scoring has been very well-balanced... maybe their keeper, whom i have never seen before in my life... other than that, i'll go with the tech goalie... the mvp is always a goalie... dont yall know anything???

I still think it is a little too early to be talking MVP, but both Tech and TSU have big games this weekend. Tech plays UT, that should be a great game and TSU plays their first OOC team against Lindenwood. I am interested to see how these two teams fare. Especially since both have talented goalies, though I have never seen the TSU goalie play. I will be interested in how the Tech vs. UT game goes, both have a lot to prove and are likely to leave it all on the field this Sunday in Ausitn.

speaking of the Tech v. UT game, does anyone know how that turned out? I have friends on both teams but havent talked to them yet.

The way I see it, this race is down to 2 players....Ryan Davis and Jason Dunn. Who's better? Of course I'm kidding, please don't respond with an arguement. ....I've never used one of these faces before, but everyone else does.....monkey see, monkey do....My vote is for Joel "fist of fury" Stupka.

thats why he said 'of course im kidding'... im sure he was referencing the painfully drawn-out mvp debate of last year...

Dunn doesn't play anymore...Well, then forget about MVP player votes...I'm thinking of assistant coaching MVAC. And in this case it's a dead-lock between Chad "One and Done" Sones and myself. I'm not familiar with the rest of the league's assistants, but I know it will be a fight to the death. Chad prefers the "tough love" tactic, while I'm a players coach. This one's going to be decided on the sidelines!

Davis wins again.
Most Valuable Assistant Coach for UNT goes to Ryan Davis. He has the highest winning percentage among Jstoops and CSones34 as an AC.
He is also the only UNT assistant coach to assume the head coaching responsibilities for a game. He is 1-0.
Sorry, Jstoops and CSones34 will need to step it up to make this argument more entertaining, because Davis is killing you on the field.

NO LOVE
Karl, donde esta el amor? When did Sauce take over as head coaching duties? Anyways, I believe this is a direct challenge to me and Sones. We will be organizing a coup against this newly formed alligance between you and Sauce. You may just be talking #s, but me and Chad take that personally...Sones called me and was broken up about it. Now it's personal.
