Tulane went up early, but a steadily improving Tiger D didn't allow more than a 3 goal lead for Tulane. Halftime score, 6-4 Tulane. Tigers regroup at half with a 3rd quarter shutout on the Tulane offense, despite a very aggressive EMO. Game ends in a very dramatic fashion with a looseball scrum in front of LSU's crease, but the Tigers were able to hold on. Thanks Tulane for a well-fought game. Good luck with your season.

Copied from WCLL Forum:

Final from San Diego

UC San Diego 7
Univ. of Texas 8

Texas looked pretty good, especially on loose balls and unsettled situations. They had some D-men able to throw some real good lookin checks and seem to be pretty solid this year.

UCSD's first half play was the best I've seen them play this year, and gave them a 4-2 halftime lead. Texas adjusted well and came back strong in the second half, going out to an 8-5 lead with less than a minute to play.

Overall the fourth quarter was filled with penalties, but multiple penalties late, both on in game players and the bench, led to UCSD possessions and man up opportunities, upon which they capitalized.

Not the Texas bench??? Not always quiet, mild-mannered Noah??? Must be those local officials, that would never happen here! :P

Congratulations to Texas on splitting the road trip against some stiff competition.
