So Mizzou gets burned again. I guess its a rebuilding year. They still have plenty of time and games left, but geez that kind of start kills confidence with a quickness. Hope Kyle has somthing up his sleeve.

is correct.
The game was pretty much dominated by Illinois the whole game.
Also, Illinois' best defender, Justin Hooper was out.

Score from Friday in Lawrence (I believe):
KU 4
KSU 2
Defensive game, both teams getting some looks, but both goalies were stopping a bunch of shotsl. K-state's goalie played very solid.

Per LSA Forum
Lindenwood-16
Texas State-8
Extremely hard fought game on both sides. Rec sports was gracious enough to allow us to play on such a wet field. Needless to say, the game turned into a mud bowl. Hats off to Lindenwood for their success in Texas.
cheers

Lindenwood - 18
Texas State - 8
Great Job by the Texas goalie it would have been a nastier score otherwise.
Brian Nix went 3 goals 3 assists
Justin Combs had 2 goals 4 assists
and Jim Lange took 4 goals and 1 assist
Everyone from the LU bench got to play. And Texas State were great hosts.
LU is still Undefeated

KU over KSU. I have to look at the books. I don't remember if it was 4-2 or 5-2.
Good game on both sides. KU's defense played one of their best games completely limiting offensive opportunities for KSU. KU held the ball for most of the 4th quarter to retain possession as daylight was fading quickly. KU's offense executed well, and took many shots, but KSU's goalie had a tremendous game.
Baylor cancelled their road trip because the fired their coach, and couldn't come up with anymore than 9 guys willing to travel. It's upsetting, because they are supposed to be a decent team. I'm not sure how this will affect their season, and apparently neither do they. More to come I'm sure.

WHOA???? Baylor fired their coach?
As far as our game with Lindenwood, we had a great time. I wish the weather had been a little more cooperative as the field was pretty sloppy. Lindenwood has a lot of depth and a lot of class. They are well coached and a very talented bunch. This was our first OOC game since I have been at TSU and it was a good experience for my whole team.

To be specific, our coach at Baylor resigned due to many issues. I won't go into all the details because I do not want to invade his privacy. It was sad and really frustrating that we couldn't make the trip up to Kansas this weekend, I was really looking forward to it. good luck KU and KSU on the rest of your seasons...
