Illinois @ Lindenwood
These two teams are so far ahead of the rest of the pack. Don't be mislead by their out of conference losses. At least they are trying to play at the top level. (only Mizzou comes close in effort) The early season losses will pay off for both teams as they head down the stretch. Things could get ugly for the rest of the GRLC. Ask Missouri about the blowout by the Lions. We will find out if MSU is as good as their record looks in about 24 hours.
Lindenwood in OT
None of the other games matter.

weather
from what I here the weather was great. mid forties but no flurries or nasty sleet.
southwestern was up 3-1 at half
augustana scored one in transition, one on an outside shot, and one on an iso with no one sliding.
southwestern controlled most of the game, and forced a ton of turnovers on clears and defense. McDunna had a huge game in goal (12 saves).
southwestern's defense held a 3 min. man down, without their best defenseman, when the score was 3-2.
southwestern has a problem with hitting the goalie on shots (31 total for the game). they took 12 in the 2nd quarter and 10 in the 3rd.
augustana was not in the best game shape, and had some of those common first game mishaps.
this is all second hand, so don't hold me to it
