That's the same score from AZ-SSU. So is FSU still top 7 material?

I don't think we can use the score differential to determine if FSU belongs in the top 7. Sonoma had this game in hand the entire time, whereas against Zona, Sonoma had to mount a strong second-half comeback to win. As Catlax Man said, perhaps top 10, but not top 7. I mean SB beat Stanford by 11, and St. Mary's beat Stanford by 5, so is SB only 6 goals better than St. Mary's? I think not.

Chico 9
Cal Poly 6

Chico was in control the majority of the game from the report I received

Chico took the lead 1-0 early in the first quarter and never trailed. At the beginning of the fourth quarter Chico led by 5.

I would state that a little differently.....

"Sonoma had a good fan base overall except for about 7 M-O-R-O-N-S heckling FSU...."

All that energy burned in the negative activity of heckling could be more positively directed towards the team they are fans of...Hecklers dishonor the game their team and university, are not true Lax fans and are a distraction to those who are....

It should be the host team's responsibility to ensure that their guests are treated with respect. If they do not take measures to do that then they should be hit with unsportsman like conduct....and I realize that the game was at LMU and not in Rohnert Park.
I have ultimate confidence that the BOD can devise a penalty for even this situation.... :D :P :D

I never said they were part of that good fan base. For the most part, it wasn't bad stuff, a couple things where you could say they "crossed the line". I am not going to lie, I laughed at a few of the things they said. I have seen the refs during an LMU game once tell the students to tone it down and back away from the field but the refs never said one things to the fans during the FSU-Noma game.

Don't know the exact score, but i know for a fact SSU won and only by one or two, and it was a really great back and forth game.

from watching this game, VT is LEGIT.

From WCLL.com:

FSU - 18

LMU - 10

LMU started off the game up 2-0, against #7 Florida State. FSU responded, scoring 3 goals unanswered in the last 6 minutes of the first, making the score 3-2 at the start of the second. FSU started out the second quarter strong with 2 goals in the first minute; but the Lions responded scoring two goals of thier own, making the score at the half 6-4, FSU.
In the third, the Lions lack of depth due to injury showed,as FSU scored 8 goals, to LMU's 2. It was a well fought match between the Lions and Seminoles. LMU was finally able to get their offense moving, producing a good amount of open looks, while the Seminoles capitalized on their man- up oppurtunities, scoring on 7 of 9; as well as constantly producing open looks on the crease resulting in the majority of their goals.

strykr11, you were not there where you...? I suggest you save the name calling for situations you can verify. Our program hosted these great teams and I applaud SSU's team spirit and fan enthusiasm. This weekends sideline cheering at LMU enhanced the game, and did not detract from it.
