Unofficial:

Mo State 9
Iowa 5

I was told that the field was pretty sloppy and that the game had to be played with running 30 minute clock due to some charity football game afterwards or something like that, who knows.

MO State 9
Iowa 5.....

That is an official score. You were correct, game was played in 30 minute running time halfs due to a charity football event that was supposted to take place (which looked to be cancelled since no one was there at the end of our game!). Absolute mud bowl that got very chippy. MO State goalie came down with food poisoning after the KU game yesterday, or something of that sort so a freshmen who had 1 game of HS experience had to step in!

Thanks to KU for helping us line a new field in 15 minutes and work to make the games happen!

Carleton - 11
South Dakota - 3

Thanks Carleton for organizing everything for this weekend. Random stick checks went smoothly and pretty quick. A long stick from each team was found to be illegal.
Good luck with the rest of your season.

South Dakota vs. Moorhead was cancelled due to weather. We are in the process of rescheduling.

Nebraska was leading Dordt 7 to 3 at the end of the 3rd quarter when I left. Physical game with more than a few big hits. Dordt suffered from the typical problems associated with playing their first game of the season without having practiced on a full field - inability to clear in the first half, too many shots that missed the goal, etc. - all things that will improve with a few games. Nebraska looked much more comfortable, crisp on settled offense compared to last week against North Dakota State. They were moving the ball well at times. It is also nice to see 4 freshmen from last year's Omaha high school league contributing for Nebraska.

From Norman:

Arkansas - 10
Oklahoma - 4

Physical game, but we were a different team than the one that was in Dallas two weeks ago. Although the wind in Norman was terrible, OU did a great job hosting.
