rams vs ducks
I was wondering if i am the only person that thinks the rams might start the season with a loss. oregon is already rolling and very talented. hope that flip and the boys are ready

I don't think so. I think Flip and the boys will beat Oregon.

UCSB may be tired against Utah. With that and a good game at home the Utes can bounce back from an 0-2 start after that AZ trip.
CSU has two top A teams in Oregon and Sonoma to start out with. CSU will go 2-0. They may have lost a few guys... but it's CSU the team not the individuals.
NAU came back from an 0-6 deficit and took the Rebels by one goal. That shows a lot of heart to stay in a game that starts like that, but I think top RMLC B team UV will be able to keep them down. I hope for a good game and always root for the underdog, go Lumberjacks!
UNC will be playing 2 top B teams in competition as well. Westminster and UVSC are two teams that the Bears will have to prove themselves against. I'm going with the UT teams in this one though...

So this is where it all starts.. CSU goes out to play 2 huge games. Flip is up to his old tricks, imitating Lou Holtz. There is no place to practice, we only get a field for 55 mins at a time, and worst of all he has too many goalies. I know alot of teams who would love to have that last problem. But really, who do they start? They graduated the MCLA champion goalie last year, but return the runner up. Huh?!? Fitzgerald is strong, and Bisnett played great the last time I saw him. They return alot of players everywhere. I have them beating Oregon comfortably(4 goals) and squeaking one out against the Cossacks( I can call them whatever I want). Colorado hosts CC for a "scrimmage" unless CC wins, then it was a real game. I do not know who Colorado has in net, but I will go with them by 2. The tigers travel to Boulder, but why will they never give the Rams a home game?
Now to the Utah teams. Utah state is coming off a rough loss(guys, I have been there). If jaxton Evans plays like he did last game, the aggies will shut out MSU. I will pick USU by 4. Santa barbara travels to provo. I do not know what to expect from them, but I know what to expect from the cougs. The gaucho's only hope is the church moves up conference to this weekend. BYU by 6. Last but not least we have UCSB-Utah. I am a man who knows history(but rarely do I learn from it). 4 years ago, CSU comes to provo, beats BYU, then the next day, drops a big steamer against Utah. Last spring, Noma comes, utah beats them. This year, here comes the gauchos............... Utes by 1?
On another note, wasn't BYU supposed to play NYiT next week?
I do not have alot of knowledge about division B, but I fully expect westminster and uvsc to be undefeated at the end of the weekend. westminster will have a tough row to hoe against NDNU though. I see this as their first loss, albiet by only 3. I will not be at that game, but I will be making a day of it next wednesday, watching Westminster @Santa Clara at 1 and then the nightcap of BYU at NDNU at 4.

Good luck to NAU. They are the dark horse. As I have said before they will surprise some people. I may be wrong but I think they are right up there with Utah Valley and Westminster.

I think you mean Santa Cruz, considerably farther away. You may have a tough time making it on time for the 2nd game.

not to toot westminsters horn, but they have the number 1 strength of schedule in the b division. NDNU, UTAH, DOMINCAN, UTAH STATE, UC DAVIS. all non division b teams. just to clarify.

i think westminster will only lose two games this regular season: ndnu and utah. we'll see how they do against unc this weekend. i have friends on both sides of the ndnu/westminny game but i don't think mase has the kids to get within three of the argos quite yet. give him a couple years. i mean, utah beat westminster by 10 or so just a couple weeks ago. parker is right, they have some work to do, but i think they will be a force this spring in the b division.

Three top ten teams!
I was just thinking that this might be the first time that rmlc b had three teams in the top ten. This should be one of the best weekends of the year. I think that the games will be close.

It is a little too early to judge those stats from laxpower. Did you see who was #2? Central Connecticut, who has not played a game yet, and nobody on their schedle has played a game yet as well. I will admit, they have a very ambitious schedule, but let's see how things turn out.

This Weekend should really show what UNC has really got. i think if they can come out of this weekend with 2 wins and one loss it should really show the level they have moved to.
