Congratulations Harding on a very nice out of conference win. No one can discount this ooc win for coming in the consolation round of the national tournament. Good luck tomorrow.

The Huskers also had a nice ooc win this evening. They were thoroughly dominating 11-2 at the half when I had to leave.

North Dakota State came out hard and fought hard all game, we jumped out early on them and never let up. Thanks to them for coming down. They also played UNO this morning so I'm sure they were a little worn out because they played very well against UNO winning 9-5 and really pulling away in the 4th.

UNT 13
Missouri State 8

Sloppy first half dominated by UNT. Second half settled down and was slightly lead by MSU but too little too late. On to what looks to be a very good opponent in SMU later today.

Warning: Biased Opinion

To be honest, I think it was just that we were finally able to execute. In the second half we really started to run our game plan. We are one of the MANY teams that suffers from practicing in a facility that is no where near close to a lax field. It's actually 2 hardwood B-ball courts, and there is next to no space. I think the difference was that we finally got comfortable with our space and were just able to run our offense and defense. I would have hoped this would have started to happen in the Calvin game, but there isn't a lot of room to get comfortable in snow, wind and below freezing temps.

If you can show me a team that can go from the fall to the spring without missing a beat in terms of execution, I would be very impressed. Every team suffers from it. I think our ability to shake off the rust and get used to the spacing was the difference maker.

St. thomas came out firing in the second half, they are definitely legit. Scored on four straight face-offs to start the half and put us in a hole that was tough to climb out of with a tired 18 man roster. No excuses they were the better team. I'll definitely agree with USTLAX06's initial statement, things were just working for them.

I freaking love playing lacrosse with those guys, fun weekend at Lindenwood, thanks a lot for making those games happen Corbin.

Oh and the temperature on Monday when we got back after the snowy sub-freezing weekend, high 60's all week with a light breeze and not a cloud.
