Corbin, any chance at some footage from those games being available? I know it's early in the season, but I'd be very interested in seeing the tape to aid in the rankings...

Oaks,
I think your point is valid. We (WC) should not be in the rankings (#13) until we show up and play a game or two. The fall ball experience was a good one but I think it was inappropriate to place us ahead of any programs who have shown up and strapped it on for real. We still have a long way to go.
Todd,
Flattered with the comments and hope we can live up to the expectaions. As with my experience with the U of Utah, we'll need a few recruiting classes to make a lasting impact. I'm having a lot of fun and thoroughly enjoying an administraion that says "Yes, we can do that!" Instead of "Who the heck are you?"
One thing for sure, we are in a dynamite conference (RMLC) and are likely to get tested quickly by several solid teams who'll love to "welcome" us to the league, Rocky Mountain style. I think we'll hold our own once we get up to speed.
We start things off this weekend with a road trip to play #12 WWU on the host campus of Albertson College in Caldwell ID. Sadly, I can't travel this weekend but the boys are in the reliable hands of Coach Long and I suspect we'll all have much more to say on the rankings issue come Sunday eve.
Good luck everyone, it's going to be a fun year!

Early returns. . .Westminster is for real. They took care of Western Washington 15-9 today in Caldwell, ID. . . That pre-season ranking may end up being too low. . .

For those who want to know, we have a gimp, Troy Marrs (who valiently broke his collarbone during practice), A communications genius who will be able to record most of this weekend's action between St. Thomas, Calvin, Harding, and Lindenwood. We will try to get these videos online as soon as we can.

We'll be bringing gimps as well, who I am sure would be happy to sit in the warm booth videoing.
I can't wait for the next Harding installment like this one:

UMLL OOC results for so far:
#2 St. Thomas over #10 Calvin (11-5)
#3 St. Johns over #15 No. Colorado (6-3 or 6-4 - I've not seen a score on mcla.us yet).
#3 St. Johns over #20 Biola. (12-3)
#2 UST v. #8 Harding should be a great game.
Coach Troy Hood and his staff should be commended by the entire B division poll voters for doing yeoman's work clearing fields of snow so that the Calvin/St. Thomas/Harding games can be played. Thanks Coaches!
