I understand that the $1 dollar coins with the likeness of George Washington on the front and with a Statue of Liberty image on the back are in circulation today.

One interesting fact I had read is that since they are being released in sequence of presidential term (and the Prez has to be deceased), that Ronald Reagan's can't come out until Jimmy Carter has been interred for five years.
