CollegeLAX T-Shirt - Are you interested in buying one?

Postby Sonny on Thu Feb 08, 2007 9:11 pm

Assuming you liked the design.... Would you buy a CollegeLAX T-Shirt? And if you answer yes, how much would you pay for the shirt plus door to door shipping & handling.

I think it depends on what we're talking about in terms of how much I would pay to get one. If we're talking about a button polo shirt, then I would pay more. A t-shirt... a little less. But I'm jazzed about the idea.

I think you'd have more buyers if they were under-armour type loosefit shirts. Good idea, maybe make it clear that they're supporting the site. So many times we see things, we know it's advertising, but something like I support college lacrosse or I donated might make not only the price more bearable, but might make it appeal more to some. Just a thought or 3.

For the reference of the poll already listed above, think Short Sleeve 100% cotton Beefy T-shirt.

If the demand was there for UnderArmour style shirts, we could move in that direction as well, but that would be much more expensive.

I voted for $20 but if it was UA then I would really think about getting one and would pay a lot more for it.

I voted $20 plus s/h, if its a UA shirt, up that to $30-35.

What about selling standard shirts through a site like www.cafepress.com ? (admitted, I don't know the quality...)

Also, any thought about putting the logo on natty champ tourney team jerseys, not unlike other college championships? It'd be a nice touch

I don't know about everyone else, but I would also certainly drop some money on a hooded sweatshirt- probably my favorite lacrosse watching apparel. It keeps my hands warm and ready to make violent fist pumping gestures.

I figure that a sweatshirt would be a second-step kinda thing, but once the design is set, it's just an issue of applying it to a new medium. Just a thought, but I would drop even more on a sweatshirt. Or maybe designer Ugg boots?

I don't know the feasibility of this, but how about having a MCLA merchandise section where people could pick and choose what they want to buy? There could be sweatpants, sweatshirts, t-shirts (UA or 100% cotton), koozies, lanyards, can openers, hats, pens, etc. I'm sure there would need to be a lot of capital in order to do this, but I think it could sell itself in the end.

The Beefy T is the single most wonderful thing that has ever graced my upper torso. Those shirts are wonderful, and worth the 20 bucks. Pleeeeease go with those if you do.
