Morris (Mo) Poole who graduated from BYU last year and is helping coach UCLA this year (I believe) didnt play any lacrosse before college, and he turned out to be a 2 or 3 time all american, and his junior year he was nominated as an all-american for 2 positions (LSM, Close D) It obviously helps that he was an unreal athlete, but hard work after his freshman year really paid off, and by the end of his carrer you would have thought he played since 7th grade like the rest of the team.
You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis! How do they do that?!

Eau Claire is a new UMLL-B team and new to the USLIA. Our 1st year, only 2 guys had HS experience. This year, we had 12 new guys, three without highschool experience. 9 guys are midfielders, and the three guys without highschool experience have the most goals, ground balls, and assists than any of the guys with experience (freshman class). Of all the guys with no highschool experience, I think previous hockey players pick it up the fastest, then soccer players. Drama club tends to pick it up the slowest, (just from our teams experience)
