Last year we had Oregon, Oregon State, Simon Fraser and Gonzaga in the A Division Final Four. . .
In the B division we had Montana, Western Washington, Southern Oregon and PLU in the Final Four. . .
Who do you think will be the 8 teams making the trip to Tacoma in late April this season?
A lot of key players have graduated from last season. . .certainly this year's final four will look different than the 2006 version. Southern Oregon was the Cinderella team in 2006. . .Is this finally the year that up-and-coming "expansion" teams like Idaho, Central Washington, Albertson and Boise State make their first PNCLL Playoff appearance?

BSU Bright Future
My chips are on the table for BSU this year, that is not only because I play for them but because of the large talent pool we have to choose from this year.
BSU is deep with middies this year and what seems to be almost just as deep in the attack position. So the team has plenty of player who can shoot to score, and others who are willing to hold their own on the defensive side of the field. While the rest are ready to work hard running up and down the field until the whistle blows.
Last year was our first year in the new league, and it was tough playing all of our games on the road and playing many teams for the first time. Our team managed to pull out a few W's last year and this year we have an idea of what we are in for.
I'm am excited for the first face-off of our season this year to see if any or all of the hard work we have done will come together. But I we will have to wait and see for that matter.

Good to see someone voted for Idaho. I'll hold off on voting and just say that our guys are starting to come around. We're looking forward to a great season but I can't set my expectations on end-of-the-season standings, just what happens between each whistle.
I hope all four teams listed have great seasons and the PNCLL as a whole puts up big numbers. It would be great to see more PNCLL teams vying for top 25 spots as the season progresses. It looks like a great weekend of games coming up and we're pretty excited for the next week.
