This guy, Rob Schremp, is a rookie for the Edmonton Oilers and was doing some charity shootout thing and came up with this just nasty attempt at a goal. I guess he grew up in Upstate New York and played lacrosse and hockey but I can see a little lacrosse action in this attempt.

Illegal?
I am not a hockey official but I thought the stick had to stay under the level of the cross bar. The goal by the Michigan player did that but Schremp is way over.

This was a charity shootout so I don't think they were really going by the rules.

Jeesh, michlaxref - do you have to be such a wet blanket?
I LOVED it, obviously a lot of lax in his background, and it certainly adds an exciting element to his play.
I have to say, his last trick with the golf ball and driver is equally impressive - 250 yds down the middle!

Not trying to be wet blanket. Jus trying to understand what they could do in a game and if they could change the game. Rule is something like shoulders or croos bar. I would love to see this in games.

And that second one is none other than Sidney Crosby.
