Snow Lacrosse new the the Utah scene and looking for games
Snow College has started their first program ever, and are looking for games this spring. Because we are such a new team and a club sport we don't have the money needed to be in the RMLC. However if there are any teams out there looking to pick up some extra games we would be more than happy to play. This fall we played both Westminster and Weber State, losing to Weber 8-12, and are looking to have a spring season also. We are only an hour south of Provo, so if you're headed to play UVSC or BYU schedule in a game against Snow also. We are willing to travel up to Provo also if that would be easier.

You should talk to ED from metro, he is trying really hard to get games. And what was the score of your westminster game?? Good luck this season and hope to see/play you next year

UCCS would be interested in adding you guys. I know that is a long haul from where you are at...but if you plan on coming out this way we could try and set up a multiple game weekend. Or we could try to find a midpoint location for us all to get together at.
If you guys are more interested in playing in UT, I will talk to my guys to see if we can scrape together enough to travel out your way.
Our schedule is in another post on this discussion board. Check it out and let us know if there is a good date for you. We still haven't confirmed the UNC game on April 21 nor the CSU-P game on April 28 because of the potential of them being in the playoffs....so those dates are free as of now.
Let us know your name too...
We look forward to a PM or reply.
Best of Luck!

The score from the Westminster game was 19 to 0. It was the first game ever for almost half of our players, so it was a little rough on them since they are a much better program than we arewarri0rlax22 wrote:You should talk to ED from metro, he is trying really hard to get games. Hey Mike,
We'd definately be interested in adding you to our schedule this spring. Our only problem is that Colorado Springs is kind of far for us to go. I'm not sure if Mesa has a team or not, in Grand Junction, but that is about 4 hours from us which is close to being half way. We'd definately be willing to travel that far. Let me talk to my team at practice and hopefully we can get something set up for this spring.

From what I have heard, Mesa does have a club team. Either way, I would love to get a game with you guys. I will contact my contacts to see if we could get something going more out towards you guys. Then if you guys say yes to a game we already have something moving.
Let us know what you guys decide.
Best of luck this season.

We would love a game. You contact your people and let us know what dates you'd be looking at, and we'll go from there. Can't wait to see how things move along

Mesa State College does NOT have a team! There was talk of forming one but it never came to be. I have a message with our contact at the Grand Junction Parks and Rec to see what field rental and lining of a field would cost. But then we have the other issue of getting refs to the field if there are any in the area.
So far I have had a good response from my guys on the team in traveling all the way out to you. I still need to get a hold of the other 2/3 of the team. What are the chances of you getting a field and refs out your way?
Considering the time it would take to get out to your location we would probably be looking at a late afternoon or night game on an open Saturday so we could start the long trek home after the game.

There wouldn't be any problems in us getting or lining a field, and as for ref's it would only be an hour drive for them at most so it shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully the rest of your team would still want to come out here, because we would really love to host you. Also we can work on getting a field with lights if you guys did want a night game. Our turf field isn't lit, but I think we can get a city field big enough with lights on it

yeah, Tyler is playing for us, at least he did in the fall. Hopefully he has enough time that he can keep playing.
