Big GRLC weekend

As we start the season, Lindenwood is hosting harding, St. Thomas, and Calvin. This proves to be a huge weekend for the national polls in division B. Who do you all think will come out on top?

Apologies to all. I meant to put "who will come out on top" on the poll question.

Is Lindenwood using their Div A team or playing with a developmental (jv-ish) team?

Its a JV team, probably non-starters.

Its our underclassmen, development-ish team.

Sorry AJ you can't come down and scout yet 8) .

EDIT:: LU should be left off this list for obvious reasons.

We don't have a JV team. The guys playing in this weekend are mostly underclassmen. For us, these contests are scrimmages. We are also scrimmaging D3 Fontbonne in preparation for our season.

Oh ok gotcha. That other game should be pretty fun. A good look to see how the club league stacks up to the ncaa. Is fontebonne a newly added team? i didnt know there was ncaa lax in missouri.

I think they have only been varsity for a few seasons, maybe 2 or 3, not 100% on that though.....

This is their first varsity season. They're looking to be quite good, too.

I believe this is their second season. They are coached by Nick Silva, a former assistant coach and ex-player of Lindenwood. The first coach was John Bifulco, who used to coach Wash U.

Gotcha, Benson:

Nick Silva is their coach, but he didn't play for me. He was my assistant in 05. Nick played Division I lax at Manhattan College in NYC. Mike Silva, his brother, was one of my players the last three years.

This is their first season as a program, and yes, they should be quite good.
