Chris Gaffney and Jim O'neil would probably play (Oregon guys I played with in high school). I know you all love Gaffney. Gus and Burke would probably be down. So we're already right around 20...
If no one else wants to organize it, I could do it. It would have to be Victoria though since it's so much closer than any of the others and easier to get people up there. I always have wanted to play in Vail though but oh well.

Kojima is in California right now I believe, but Victoria could be a good start. I'm sure Kris Johonson, Jeff Carroll, Aaron Henderson would play as well.. If we're lucky we could find Dylan Myers...

Victoria
Ha Kyle- 3/4 of my playing days were in the PNCLL and my fourth we played against UO so thats worth another year right? It probably just seemed like I only played 2 years cause we never beat PLU while I was there. Ok- so if we get a team for Victoria then I'd probably have to be out cause I've played the last three years with Team Northwest and since we won it all last year (sorry, now that the playing days are over I have very little left to hold on to), that might be tough to back out on.
What about a past vs present PNCLL all-star game? That would be tough to organize since it would only be a game and not a tournament, but at least in theory it sounds good yeah?

Count me in for the Victoria tourney. Good to see an SFU guy (Tim Whitehead) from my era involved as well. We'll be resident old-guys...to keep the younger alums in line. Victoria is a great tourney...played there 2 summers ago with the NW Crease Monkeys (seattle). A dedicated group of us would do well at that tourney.
Let's look into it.

Hey Peter, if you wanna bring along the girls that used to do the scorekeeping at Whitman in our day, that would be great too. Walla Walla was the only place I ever used to get penalties on purpose...

Reed: I'd have to say you're all over organizing a team for the Victoria tournament. I would talk with Neil about some details about the whole thing. If you do plan on organizing it, keep us all informed and let us know cost.

sounds good Tim. An alumni team is not complete without alumni score/time keepers (or as BearcatLax refers to them, "groupies"). Hopefully they will help us lure opponents into the penalty box, so that we can score at-will during the game.

I will start looking into it as soon as possible. Let's keep it open to all former PNCLL players and see how much interest there is. Before I start getting hotel info, we'll probably need to start getting an idea of how many guys we can get so please get ahold of me if you're interested.
Also--try to get anyone you might know to join. We'll start fleshing out a roster. You can reach me at work at (503)675-5723 or email me at reed.harmon@gmail.com.
In the meantime, I'll start a new topic for this team on the main PNCLL forum. Also, any ideas on what to call the team?
