Mike Evans to play for the Johnnies?

I noticed Mike Evans (Benilde 2005) is listed in the Laxpower 2007-2008 Recruit database. It says that he is transferring from Quinnipiac to St. John's. Anybody know any details or can confirm?

you must be misinformed, he is sitting right next to me in DULUTH. He transferred here.

That's strange. Laxpower has him going to St. Johns next fall and Quinnie still has him on the 2007 roster.

What was involved with his decision to transfer to UMD?

Say "hey" to him for me. When we started up the Benilde program (2000) we were so thin we played him even though he was a seventh grader at the time. He and his brother Charlie were solid players.

I can only assume that his reasoning for going to play for Duluth would be great program, great teammates, great coaching staff, fun school, ability to travel, a chance to compete with top teams in the country, and have a very good oppotunity to win championships?

Just a guess though?

I may be a bit bias.....

Watching them play this fall, there team looks very good and they were missing Zeibol and Pete nelson for the hot dish
