Just saw this poster and look closely to two balls going through the hourglass. This poster was from The World Without Zionism conference in Iran almost 2 years ago. You will note that the first ball to fall is U.S. and the second ball is about to fall down is Israel. Just happened to notice that.

Although Ahmadinejad is perhaps one of the biggest [insert very bad words here] in the history of the world, he seems more bent on Israel not being a nation than killing them all.
When I think of Ahmadinejad talking about the removal of the United States and/or Israel I think of it less like "destruction and death" and more like someone that dislikes a team and wants them under new management (ie the Yankees). At least that's what I get from reading his speeches and other quotes.
But, he denies the holocaust happened...and for that I wanna [insert exactly how badly Id stomp his face in].

Ok back on topic of 24...
I only got hooked on the show in the middle of last season and just got Jack Cribbin hooked on it a couple weeks ago so we have a big question after watching tonight...
What is the back story with Jack's family? Is there any story line there at all from the previous seasons?

Tons of back story with his family.
1. His wife was murdered at the end of season 1 by Nina, a woman who worked at CTU that turned out to be a traitor. And Jack had also had an affair with her.
2. His daughter was kidnapped in season 1. She hated him before that. She's been a part of every season up until this one, I think. She briefly worked at CTU. Basically, she loves Jack but hates his job, and he was never a good father because of the job, and she has never really forgiven him for never being there.
3. His brother was on last season, but we didn't know that was his brother until tonight. All we knew was that he was this mysterious guy who was controlling the president last year, and was very powerful, or had some very powerful, evil bosses.
4. His father has never been mentioned until tonight's episode.

Just checked out the Nielsen Media Research (e.g Nielsen TV ratings), and that is for the week of January 15, 2007. 24 was not in the top 10 for that week, and I was surprised to see NCIS rated as #10 for that week. 24 was rated #13.
After seeing 24 last week and watching NCIS last night, I can see that 24 has a better plot and is very intense than NCIS. What do the veterans of watching 24 think of this rating? I guess it is just a blip on the radar.

Surprising, but if my memory is correct, 24 always seems to start off slow. Come sweeps week, though, they skyrocket. My guess is it's just a blip.

Got this from Joseph Farah's WorldNetDaily's "Between the Lines" column, and he obviously loves to watch 24:
Jack Bauer for President

Tough decision... read an article about my favorite television show or not read it because I have the utmost hatred for the publication.

So I'm on my bicycle heading to Panda Express the other day for a late lunch. I'm waiting for the light at 28th and Figueroa when a long black limo pulls up to the corner and stops.
Out pops Jack Bauer himself.
Seems like Keifer needed to use the ATM before heading to the SAG awards. Sometimes it's pretty cool living in LA.

and a puppet for Graham Bauer, who was a puppet for the father, Phillip Bauer. they all, strangely, plotted to assassinate David Palmer and its really ironic that someone is planning to assassinate his brother Wayne Palmer. doesnt 24 have some rule against Nepotism. My company does, shouldnt CTU and the Federal Government have one?
Also, what is this whole thing with Milo and Chloe's ex? Why is it important now that he's a recovering alcoholic?
peace.
