when I was a kid living in Japan, the base my dad was stationed at hosted a big Halloween carnival one year. They put a full size boxing ring together in one of the parking lots and sold pillow fights for like $2 bucks per person (this was 1979). The pillows were like king size pillow sheets with 2 or 3 down pillows in them and delivered a pretty good hit, at least for me as a kid. I think three knockdowns and you were out. I always thought the idea was brilliant for raising money for teams, fraternities, or whatever, but I guess there could be liability issues.

Anyway, the league looks fun. Similar to the Texas Roller Girls here in Austin, girls in costumes beating the crap out of each other.
