Jack shoots Curtis. Suitcase nuke gets denotated 20 miles north of LA.

I know it makes for compelling television, but why is the US Government putting all their faith in Islamic Terrorists?

i know its just a show but 20 miles north of LA? I didnt have to take a Nuke class at college to know LA would still be screwed it being only 20 miles away. Other then that i love this show.

i cant believe Jack shot Curtis. and is Wayne Palmer a punk? His brother was awesome as the president and Wayne is kinda indecisive. They didnt have to shoot Curtis though. i like his character. he's not dead yet and he'll rise from the ashes and come back to kill one of the terrorists or save someone life by sacrificing himself.

who are these two bickering nancy's that are fighting over dating Chloe? is she really worth it?
peace.

No more Curtis, is a disappointment....but now for my favorite moment...

Right after Assad stabs the guy in the knee, Jack ( in his bloody clothes ) runs out, and comes back totally clean....

Where the hell did you go Jack? The Gap........

I noticed that Jack was not wearing a seat belt in that episode. As soon as he got to that house, he just quickly got out of the car. Is that a standard practice for the tactical guys like him?

As the long time owner of various Jeep models I can tell you that he wouldn't have been speeding away from that little fender bender...but aren't these some of the things that make the show so great?

Although Mary Lynn Rajsklub "Chloe" is not really relevant to this thread, she is in one of the 17 sample "best dressed" pictures that I saw on Yahoo! (Yahoo! TV) from the Golden Globes Award show last night. You will have to see that for yourself since she looked okay in her dress because I guess she needed some work on her hair. Other than Chloe, I was surprised to see Megan Gallagher (remember The Slap Maxwell show) in those episodes last Sunday and last night.

This morning in Palm Springs, the news had a debate on how responsible/irresponsible it is for fictional tv shows to use terrorist attacks in their plot lines. Apparently, the Fox switchboard was flooded with calls last night from outraged viewers. I have not been able to corroborate this.

As I watched that nuke tear apart Valencia, it was as if my mind was blasted into reality. There, as I sat dazed in front of my TV (nuclear explosions sound great on a 12" sub, 650 watts baby!), I was visited by the one lone beacon of truth in this messed up world. Who was it? None other than the great muckraker himself, Michael Moore.

What did the great Mr. Moore want from me? Why was I worthy of his presence? He came to preach unto me the holy gospel of the great Bush/Fox conspiracy and he told me to share it with all of you.

It's really so simple. Fox puts on a TV show that centers on a superagent who battles the forces of terrorism nearly singlehandedly. In the past this superagent has always been victorious and the world has been safe for the American way of life. But now, in the real world, the American people are starting to have doubts about this so-called "War on Terror".

"Do these terrorists even really exist?", they ask.

I said, "But wait Oh Michael the Wise, of course they exist. I see them on the news."

"You must watch FoxNews because every educated person knows those people are just freedom fighters", he scoffed and I could see that I really offended him. But he continued anyway.

President Bush the Malevolent had sensed this complacency among the American people and feared it might hamper his efforts to turn America into a police state. Something had to be done. So the President picked up his little red phone, not unlike the one Commissioner Gordon used to call the Bat Cave, and he summoned his Minister of Propaganda, John Gibson. But, alas, FoxNews has seemed to have lost its hold over the American public. Fewer and fewer people even believe there is a war on terror at all. What could the President do to bring them all back in line?

There it was. Right up there in lights. A name. No, not Dirk Diggler. Jack Bauer. President Bush needed to show the American people that terrorists were still out to get us and he knew that most of American gets their news from entertainment (see: The Daily Show) so he enlisted his Crony-In-Chief, Rupert Murdoch, to help him sell the threat to the country. The great Jack Bauer couldn't win, not this time.

So there you have it. I can't say why I was chosen to go to the top of the mountain and bring back the truth. I only know that the great Bush/Fox conspiracy must be exposed. But in the meantime, vote Republican or more fictional characters might get nuked.
