I think the results of the study are stoping short. The results seem to validate yet another example of staying mentally fit and challenging your self mentally. It seems that every Alzeheimers study that reports the slowing or a reduction in symptoms are related to using your brain. Maybe this is just another example of something that you can do.......

Absolutely it counts.

I'm sure you already know, but most colleges count it as a second language.

I wonder if you can be flagged for taunting in sign language?

Hey Brent, I think it only counts if you're signing in a foreign language

I don't remember if you were lip reading when we met in Waco or your son did the ASL translation but I had my whiteboard ready!

I do know of several colleges/universities that do count ASL as a second language. Baylor does have ASL classes as well as Deaf Education and interpreting as a minor.

Taunting in sign language between two deaf high school football teams, I'm sure that can happen. As for a game between a hearing school and a deaf high school, that is possible if a deaf player flips the bird or uses another way.

Anyway, that study was done by a Canadian university. I am sure that study would be replicated by other colleges & universities.
